We received our copy of Stay by Allie Larkin a few weeks ago and finally just began reading the novel. The story is very nicely detailed and is setting up to be quite a fun and interesting read.

The author is a super animal lover that lives with two German Shepherds and a three-legged cat! YES – that’s Argo, her very own GS on the cover.

We wanted to do a dog blog dedicated to our furry friends for some time and are very excited to finally make this website official. We’ve been so busy with some of our other sites that we just never seemed to get around to it. Meantime, our Twitter following was growing quite a bit and the experiences shared with fellow dog lovers have been priceless. This newly designed project is an extension of what successfully began in Twitterland and inspired by Halle – our Super Weim!

All in a name: HALLE is our beautiful Weimaraner. We sometimes use a pet name – ‘HalleBalle‘ – for fun! BALLE is derived from ‘ball‘ which is her favorite toy. DOG is well, self-explanatory.

Our goal is to share ideas plus teach and learn about virtually all aspects of dog care, ownership and behavior. As we say in our Twitter bio, “We’re all about Caring & Providing for your Dog the natural way!”

Instead of posting short tidbits and news, we’re going to be focusing on regular, informative and thorough posts that will offer up lots of the ideas and useful insights we want to share with you. Our goal is to keep the HalleBalleDog blog interesting and engaging but also very fun!
